Guaranteed issue life insurance
Coverage that never asks about your health.
If an insurer has already turned you down, this is the product built for you: no medical questions, no exam, and acceptance that does not depend on your health. There are two real trade-offs, and we would rather you hear them from us than find them in the policy later.

Availability, benefit limits, age ranges, and policy terms vary by state and carrier. Acceptance without health questions is not the same as a guaranteed claim payment.
Start with the need, not a sales pitch
Guaranteed issue may fit when...
- You have been declined for life insurance before
- You have a health condition that makes underwriting difficult
- You are between about 50 and 80 years old
- You want a smaller policy aimed at funeral and final bills
Able to answer health questions? A standard final expense policy will usually cost you less for more coverage, with no waiting period on natural causes.
Look at final expense firstMost companies stop at “you’re covered.” Your policy belongs in your free Vault, and when the time comes MedaSynq can file the claim for your family.

What you are actually trading away
Guaranteed acceptance is real, and so is its cost. Both of the things below are normal for this product, not fine print we found in one bad policy.
No health questions
A guaranteed issue application does not ask about your medical history and does not require an exam. Acceptance is not based on your health.
A waiting period on natural causes
For the first two to three policy years, most guaranteed issue policies pay back the premiums paid plus interest rather than the full benefit if death is from natural causes. Accidental death is usually covered in full from the start. The exact terms are set by the carrier and the policy.
A higher price for each dollar of cover
Because the carrier accepts applicants without knowing their health, guaranteed issue costs more per dollar of coverage than a policy you qualify for on health. Benefit amounts are correspondingly small.
The mistake to avoid
Buying guaranteed issue when you did not need to. If your health would pass a normal application, you are paying more for less coverage and accepting a waiting period you did not have to accept. Answer the ordinary questions first and only fall back to guaranteed issue if the answers close the door. The same one set of questions covers both.
Answer the questions once and see bothWhy buy it through MedaSynq
The policy is the easy part. Being found is not.
A small policy bought to cover a funeral is the exact kind that goes unclaimed, because it is the kind nobody remembers existed. Whatever you buy through MedaSynq lands in your free Vault with your beneficiaries and documents beside it, and when the time comes MedaSynq can file the claim for your family instead of leaving them to work out which carrier and which form.
Common questions
The questions worth asking
Can I be turned down for guaranteed issue life insurance?
Not on health. A guaranteed issue policy asks no medical questions and requires no exam. Carriers do still apply non-medical limits, most commonly an age range and a maximum benefit amount, and availability varies by state and carrier.
What happens if I die soon after the policy starts?
This is the most important thing to understand. Most guaranteed issue policies have a waiting period of two to three years for death from natural causes. During that period the carrier typically returns the premiums paid plus interest instead of the full benefit amount. Death from an accident is usually covered in full from day one. The policy document sets the exact terms and you should read that section before buying.
Is guaranteed issue my best option?
Often it is not. If you can answer health questions and get through underwriting, a standard final expense or term life policy will usually give you more coverage for less money, with no waiting period on natural causes. Guaranteed issue makes sense when underwriting is the obstacle, not when it is simply the faster route.
How much coverage can I get?
Guaranteed issue benefit amounts are small by design, typically in the range of a few thousand to a few tens of thousands of dollars. The limit depends on your age, the carrier, and your state. It is sized for funeral costs and final bills rather than income replacement.
Is acceptance the same as a guaranteed payout?
No, and the difference matters. Guaranteed acceptance means the carrier will issue the policy without assessing your health. Whether a claim is paid, and how much, still depends on the policy terms, the waiting period, and the premiums being kept up to date.

What happens after
The only coverage that comes with someone to file the claim
Billions in life insurance benefits go unclaimed, largely because families never find the paperwork. Buying the policy is the easy part. Being found, years later, by the people it was meant for is the part everyone else leaves to chance.
It lives in your Vault
Your free Vault keeps everything in one place: the policy itself, your beneficiaries, and the documents your family will be asked for.
We can file the claim
When the time comes, your family doesn't have to work out which carrier, which form, or which department. MedaSynq can file the claim for them.
A reduced fee for subscribers
Claim Assist costs nothing upfront and is only billed if the claim pays out, at a reduced service fee for Vault subscribers.

Other coverage
Guaranteed issue is not the only option.
If your health would pass a normal application, one of these will almost certainly give you more for your money.
