What the tools use

Illustrative term-life, whole-life and final-expense prices use only the selected life category, age, state, the carrier's sex category, coverage amount, and term length for term life. Mortgage protection and key person prices are ordinary term-life prices, without mortgage or business details. The pricing inputs are sent to the insurers MedaSynq offers online, or their contracted quoting service, to return illustrative prices. Age is converted to a placeholder birth date. Every price uses fixed Standard health and never-tobacco assumptions; neither is an assessment of you. Indexed universal life (IUL) is never priced in ChatGPT, and no IUL inputs are sent to a quoting provider. No cash values, returns or income are calculated.

General life insurance information uses only the selected life category. This includes indexed universal life and permanent protection goals without cash-value forecasts or personal recommendations. The information tool does not send pricing inputs to a quoting provider.

The tool does not ask for names, contact details, actual date of birth, medical history, health status, tobacco history, account credentials, government identifiers, policy documents, or payment details. Do not share those details with the tool. It does not provide health insurance quotes, Medicare guidance, annuities, or claims assistance. Estimate assumptions are disclosed with the results and do not determine eligibility.

What we record

MedaSynq records aggregate life-tool usage, whether a tool succeeded or failed, and whether the continue button was used, with the event time. These reporting records contain no selected life category, pricing inputs, conversation text, contact details, IP address, or visitor identifier. They count events, not unique people, and do not currently expire automatically.

To limit abuse, our server temporarily processes a request's network address to create a truncated hash combined with the UTC day. Our rate-limit provider receives that hash and request counts, not the raw address or insurance inputs. The rate-limit records expire within 48 hours. This hash is separate from reporting records. Hosting and quoting providers may also process request metadata under their own privacy and retention practices.

The continuation page does not load our marketing pixels or support chat on direct entry. Clicking continue opens the selected life category on our website with a source label indicating the insurance assistant. Only the category and fixed source labels are carried forward, including a mortgage or key person category when selected. Your ChatGPT conversation and pricing answers are not transferred, and the link contains no personal or health details. Our website and carrier application forms separately collect the personal, health, tobacco, and application details needed for actual quotes and underwriting, under their own privacy notices and consent practices.

After you click continue, a 30-minute cookie marks the organic insurance journey on medasynq.com to suppress its OpenAI advertising measurement. Every visitor receives the same marker; it is not a visitor identifier. This cookie does not carry to insurance.medasynq.com, which preserves the organic source labels and does not load advertising scripts. Existing referral and first-visit attribution are preserved.
